2018 Barolo Carobric
About the Wine
Very fresh and creamy on the nose. The palate is full of strawberries and fresh roses. A blend of Nebbiolo from three of the estate's most celebrated terroirs — Rocche di Castiglione, Cannubi and Bric dël Fiasc — each vinified separately in neutral French oak for 12 months and then large casks for a further 12 months before blending. Crafted to be a pure and elegant expression of Barolo, with complex aromas of dark cherry, dried roses, violets, spice and truffle, and fine-grained tannins. Note: 2018 was the final vintage of Barolo Carobric.
