Overview

On a gently east-facing mid-slope, Romanée-Conti combines clay-rich brown limestone soil with hard Jurassic bedrock. The site yields intensely perfumed Pinot Noir of red and dark fruit, spice, sensual texture, profound complexity, and extraordinary aging capacity.

The enclosed parcel occupies the favored mid-slope of Vosne-Romanée around 260 meters, adjoining La Romanée and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.

Brown limestone soil about sixty centimeters deep contains a substantial clay component over hard Premeaux limestone.

Red Pinot Noir exclusively, renowned for aromatic complexity, power without heaviness, and exceptional longevity.
