Overview
The rectangular vineyard lies between the combes of Morey and Chambolle, mostly within Chambolle-Musigny, at roughly 250 to 280 meters. Contrasting white marl and redder clay-rich sectors yield fleshy, mineral Pinot Noir with dark fruit, firm structure, and exceptional aging potential.
Geography & Climate
The appellation crosses the boundary between Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis on a gently sloping east-facing terrace.
Soils
Jurassic limestone pavement and white marl underlie light brown or reddish clay-flint and gravelly soils.
Wine Styles
Red Pinot Noir exclusively, characteristically full-bodied, structured, intense, and capable of very long aging.
